The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ basketball team traveled to Trinity Episcopal School in Richmond and routed the Lady Titans 60-32 on Tuesday evening.

Senior guard/forward Jessica Pieroni scored 14 of her game-high 20 points in the first half as the Saints raced to a 30-15 halftime lead. Sophomore point guard Harper Birdsong had 19 points for the game to go along with eight assists and six rebounds. Senior guard/forward Kaylor Nash tallied 10 points, four boards, three steals and a block.

Sophomore center Caroline Hogg contributed on defense with three blocks and two steals.

The Lady Saints (1-1) will host Tabb High School on Saturday at 6 p.m.
