Mary Jane Blow, 81, of 602 Adams St., Suffolk, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at her residence. She was a native of Southampton County and the daughter of the late Henry D. Williams and Mary Parker Williams.

She retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth after 25 years.

She leaves to cherish her memory one sister, Margaret Dalton, of Beltsville, Md.; two aunts, Helen Joyner, of Courtland, and Gladys Anderson, of Norfolk; one sister-in-law, Anita Blow, of New Jersey; two godsons, Ronnie Barnes, of Suffolk, and Calvin L. Parker (Marsha), of Sunbury, N.C.; nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon, Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, in the chapel of Crocker Funeral Home officiated by Suffragan Bishop Madison Copeland. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
