William Lee Lawrence Jr., 58, of 3312 Nansemond Parkway, died Dec. 16, 2013, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Lee Lawrence Sr. and Eunice Willis Lawrence.

Mr. Lawrence is a graduate of the former John Yeates High School and attended Tidewater Community College with a major in music. He was the Minister of Music for Lighthouse Evangelistic Ministry and former deacon at Tabernacle Baptist Outreach Center. He worked for Rillco Inc.

He leaves to cherish his memory his spouse, Edna Lawrence, of Suffolk; four sons; one stepson; two daughters, two stepdaughters; two sisters, four brothers, 24 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Outreach Center. The Rev. Nathaniel Scates Jr. will deliver the eulogy; Pastor Trevon Boone, senior pastor.
