Josephine Simms Gwaltney, 80, of Suffolk, passed away Dec. 21, 2013. A funeral service will be held on Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Garland K. Hines followed by visitation. Burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery. Friends may join the family other times at the residence.
