Robbery suspect arrested

A man wanted in connection with an August robbery was arrested Thursday evening.

Galvin Rawleigh Daughtrey, 26, of the 700 block of Hosier Road, is charged with two counts of armed robbery, two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, two counts of brandishing a firearm, conspiracy to commit a felony and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to Suffolk spokeswoman Diana Klink.

In a press release, Klink stated that the incident occurred Aug. 11 in the 500 block of Chisholm Lane, when two pizza delivery drivers were robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint by two assailants.

A juvenile also was arrested in the crime, Klink stated.

Daughtrey is being held at Western Tidewater Regional Jail.
