Mr. Samuel P. Jenkins Sr. of Leafwood Road, Suffolk, died Jan. 24, 2014. A homegoing service will be held on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at noon, at Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1071 Carrsville Highway, Franklin, with the Rev. Daniel Jackson delivering the eulogy; the Rev. Alfred Brown Sr. is pastor. The interment will be in Southview Cemetery. Services will be conducted by Wm. M. Johnson & Sons, Inc., 224 S. Main St., Franklin.
