Marin “Mario” Wilkins, 27, of 210 North St., Suffolk, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at Sentara Obici Hospital. He was a native of Suffolk and the son of Kenneth Harris (Audrey) and Leila Wilkins Drayton (Eric).

He attended Lakeland High School and Tidewater Community College. He was employed at Integrated Electrical Services.

He leaves to cherish his memory one son, D’Marian Wilkins; fiancée, Atondra Allgood; one sister, Kristie Harris; six brothers, Darry Wilkins, of Enon, Pa., Corey Wilkins, of Louisiana, Keith Robinson, Latron Winnegan, Kevin Powell, all of Suffolk, and Kashawn Harris, of Clinton, Md.; paternal grandmother, Catherine Harris, of Suffolk; maternal grandmother, Catherine Wilkins; maternal grandfather, Marilyn Wilkins; special friends, Derrick “D.J.” Silver Jr. and Victor Council; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon, Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at New Mt. Joy Food For Living Ministries officiated by the Rev. Robert Wilkins. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
