Following is a list of closures and cancellations because of the inclement weather:

• The North Suffolk Library will close at 5:30 p.m. Other libraries will close at their normal times — 5 p.m. for the Chuckatuck Branch and 5:30 p.m. for the Morgan Memorial Library.
• The East Suffolk Recreation Center will close at 6 p.m.
• Suffolk Parks and Recreation has canceled all its afternoon and evening activities, including classes, practices and afterschool activities.
• Suffolk Public Schools has canceled all afternoon and evening activities Wednesday, including sports games. Nansemond River High School has tentatively rescheduled its boys’ and girls’  basketball games against Heritage High School for Thursday evening. Lakeland High School’s boys’ basketball road game against Phoebus High School has been rescheduled for Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
• The Nansemond River Preservation Alliance has postponed its TMDL Implementation Plan community meeting tonight. It will be rescheduled.
