Lady Saints rebound against Patriots

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy softball team recovered from a season-opening loss to dispatch visiting Portsmouth Christian School 15-5 on Friday.

Brooklyne Carr, Macy Mears, Delaney Taylor and Madi Wilson each recorded two hits apiece, and Emily “EJ” Bankson claimed the win on the mound.

The Lady Saints return to action on Monday on the road against Atlantic Shores Christian School.
