Jean Lois Critzer Holland, 80, of Suffolk, passed away March 23, 2014. She was born in Suffolk to the late Ryland F. and Martha Gray Johnson. She is also predeceased by her husbands, Ernest Robert Critzer Sr. and Franklin D. Holland, and sons, Ernest Robert Critzer Jr., Ryland Lewis Critzer and James G. Critzer. Jean worked as a nurse’s aide for many years. She attended First Baptist Church.

Jean is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy J. and Joel Turner; stepdaughters, Barbara H. Baines and Linda H. Wells; three grandchildren, Matthew Turner, Josh Turner and Rachel Critzer; three great-grandchildren; and nephew, Frankie Lee Johnson.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434, with Dr. Norman March officiating.
