A Suffolk man has been indicted on attempted murder and other charges stemming from a December shooting that injured two people and damaged buildings and vehicles at the Suffolk West Shopping Center on West Constance Road.

Maurice Dontrell Boykins, 26, faces a charge of attempted murder and charges of use of a firearm in commission of a felony, malicious wounding, destruction of property, malicious shooting at an occupied building and shoot, stab, cut or wound.

Neither of the victims’ injuries were life-threatening, city spokesman Tim Kelley said at the time. The shooting happened at 8:55 p.m. on Dec. 20. Two unoccupied vehicles and two storefronts were damaged.

Boykins was among 38 defendants indicted on 92 charges. The full list of indictments is below.
