NSA rebounds from one-stroke loss

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy golf team defeated conference rival Greenbrier Christian Academy on Tuesday 151-160 at the Riverfront Golf Club, a day after a narrow home loss to Cape Henry Collegiate School.

On Tuesday, the Saints’ Thomas Meyers and the Gators’ Alston Newsom were co-medalists, each shooting rounds of 35.

In Monday’s tri-match against Cape Henry Collegiate School and Portsmouth Christian School at Sleepy Hole Golf Course, the Dolphins produced a team score of 167 strokes, the Saints were at 168 and the Patriots totaled 223.
