Police seek shoplifters

Suffolk police are seeking the public’s assistance identifying three woman reportedly involved in a shoplifting incident at a department store in North Suffolk.

The woman allegedly stole about $272 of store merchandise from the Kohl’s in the 6200 block of College Drive on April 18 just before 7 p.m., according to a press release from the city.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects — all black females — while they were in the store.

The first suspect is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, 150 to 160 pounds, wearing a jean jacket with two hooded sweatshirts and carrying a black rectangular purse.

The second suspect is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, 180 pounds, large build, and wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt and carrying a black shoulder bag.

The third suspect is described as 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, wearing a jean jacket, white zipped up sweatshirt and her hair in a bun.

Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or text the keyword SPDVATIP and the tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Tipsters never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
