Suffolk police are seeking a suspect in a robbery that occurred Saturday at a nail salon.

City spokeswoman Diana Klink said the incident occurred about 2:45 p.m. at Happy Nails in the 2800 block of Godwin Boulevard. A light-skinned male entered and brandished a firearm while demanding money but fled after being told there was no money, Klink said.

The suspect, believed to be an Asian male, was described as wearing black shorts, a black pullover and Timberland boots, Klink said.

There were no injuries, and the investigation is ongoing.
