The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy boys’ lacrosse team topped visiting Virginia Episcopal School 14-5 in the VISAA Division II state quarterfinals on Tuesday.

Saints senior Brandon Witherow contributed five goals and one assist to the win. Sophomore Noah Dowd and freshman Tanner Jackson had two goals apiece. Senior Jacob Edwards, senior Michael Tyler Lepore, junior Addison Peak, junior Whit Riddick and sophomore Noah Serianni each scored once.

NSA will play on Friday in the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division II state semifinals at Randolph-Macon College.
