Louise Briggs Wiggins, 81, went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2014, and on that day there was a great reunion with her husband of 59 years, Pete Wiggins.

She was the daughter of the late Lula and James Allen Briggs and was predeceased by her husband Herbert Riddick Wiggins, “PETE.”

Louise had a love for flowers, hummingbirds and canning vegetables, but most of all she loved being a mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed the time with her husband after his retirement when they lived in Florida.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda W. Eure and husband, Danny J. Eure, of Eure, N.C.; sons, V. Keith Wiggins, of Suffolk, H. Wayne Wiggins and wife, Debbie, of Suffolk; grandsons, Wade Wiggins, of Portsmouth, Scott Wiggins and wife, Heather, of Suffolk; great-grandsons, Gavin and Mason Wiggins; sisters, Ruby Griggs and Frances Kincaid; brother, Earl Briggs; and her faithful companion, Ranger.

A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, May 29, 2014, at 11 a.m. in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk, VA 23434 by the Rev. Dr. Robert Pipkin with entombment at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, May 28, 2014, from 6 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to West End Baptist Church, 501 W.
