Women will be pampered at the Riverfront Swim Club in North Suffolk on Tuesday to raise money for the Suffolk Humane Society.

The “Hello Gorgeous” fundraiser has been planned “by women to pamper women,” according to a Humane Society news release.

From 2 to 7 p.m., women will be pampered with “food, wine and vendors featuring skin care, nutrition, fashion, jewelry, reflexology, fitness and more.”

Tickets are $7 in advance or $10 at the door.

The event will feature “massages, quick style fixes, summer hair and makeup tips that will help you feel gorgeous from the inside out.”

“This is a wonderful chance for women to take an hour or a whole afternoon to take a breather for themselves,” event organizer Janice Powell stated.

“We designed it so that we hope most women, whether they are retirees, stay-at-home moms or working women who can stop by after work, can enjoy a little me time.

“I also know that, for so many of us, our pets are important family members, and this is a great way for us to help those animals who don’t have families.”

During the event, Suffolk Humane will accept donations of pet food and other pet-related items.

The organization particularly needs Purina Pro Plan chicken and rice cat and kitten food, canned cat food and Tidy Cat clumping litter.

Other items sought include unwanted towels and collapsible wire crates, and more is listed at
