Melvin Thomas Williams Sr. passed from this life early Friday morning, June 6, 2014.

Williams was a retiree of Lipton Tea Co. in Suffolk.

He leaves behind his high school sweetheart and wife of 49 Years, Stylie M. Williams; three children, Melvin Thomas Williams Jr., Darryl V. Williams and Tara Forward; 8 grandchildren; two brothers, Hayward Leon Williams and Clem M. Williams; and three sisters, Priscilla Williams, Audrey Liverman and Beverly Williams.

A funeral will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Faith Temple Ministries in Suffolk. Interment will be at Carver Cemetery.
