Sylvia Anne Mitchell Schlaffer, 78, died June 19, 2014. A funeral service will be held Monday, June 23, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with retired Lt. Colonel Angeline Hofman officiating. Burial will follow at Nansemond Suffolk Cemetery.
