Mr. William “Dick,” “Brother Bill” Boykins died on Thursday, June 19, 2014, at his place of residence. A homegoing service will be held Tuesday, June 24, at 11 a.m. at Holy Light Church of Deliverance, 1918 Lincoln St., Portsmouth. A wake will take place on Monday, June 23, at Greater Mt. Zion Church of God in Christ, 1300 Deep Creek Blvd., Portsmouth, from 6 to 8 p.m. Steele-Bullock Funeral Home is in charge of final arrangements.
