6:30 p.m. UPDATE: City officials say the road is now open again.

A portion of Whaleyville Boulevard has been closed near Freeman Mill Road because of an overturned tractor trailer, according to city officials.

No injuries were reported in the single-vehicle accident, to which police were called at 2:36 p.m., according to Suffolk spokesman Tim Kelly, who said he was awaiting further information about the accident.
