Grace Whitney Saunders of Suffolk was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in environmental studies: ecology and biodiversity.

She graduated cum laude at the University of the South’s 2014 commencement ceremonies held in All Saints’ Chapel on the Sewanee, Tenn., campus on May 11.

Saunders is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Whitney G. Saunders of Suffolk.
