A Suffolk man was arrested Monday on a charge of bigamy after being indicted last week by the grand jury.

Kareem Jabbar Giles, 38, allegedly got married on May 23, 2013, after already having been married to another woman, city spokeswoman Diana Klink said. The first marriage occurred on July 7, 2005, she said.

His first court appearance is set for Aug. 6.
