Taste of Home Cooking School set

The perfect recipe for creating new memories with loved ones includes good friends, good conversation and, of course, great food. The Suffolk News-Herald and Hilton Garden Inn Riverfront will serve it up in heaping portions Tuesday, Sept. 16, when the nationally renowned Taste of Home Cooking School comes to Suffolk.
Taste of Home Culinary Specialist Char Morse will share her home-cooking tips and tricks while demonstrating step-by-step recipes for the season’s best dishes during a 7 p.m. show at the Hilton, located at Main Street and Constance Road.
Tickets go on sale today at www.tinyurl.com/suffolktaste and at the Suffolk News-Herald office, 130 S. Saratoga St. Advance general admission tickets are $12. A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $35 each. A VIP reception prior to the show will include refreshments and a meet-and-greet with Morse. VIP attendees also will receive a free copy of the latest Taste of Home Cookbook, valued at $24.99.
The Taste of Home Cooking School is America’s leading cooking school program, inspiring more than 150,000 passionate home chefs at approximately 250 events nationwide. Attendees experience exciting recipe demonstrations using ingredients that are easily found at the local grocery store and best of all, the dishes are submitted by home cooks from across the country.

This magazine includes recipes featured during the program, along with many more, as well as coupons and other goodies from participating national food companies. Attendees can also enter for a chance to win one of many door prizes, including the recipes created onstage that night.
