GASTONIA — Jasper Cleveland Costner, 97, died Sept. 1, 2014, at the Robin Johnson House.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home, with a graveside service to be at 3 p.m. Friday at Burke Memorial Park, 2506 Burke Memorial Park Road, Morganton, N.C.
