Carolyn Jean Alston, 65, of 1010 E. Washington St., Suffolk, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014, at Sentara Obici Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014, at Pleasant Union Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Dr. V.T. Chambers. Interment will be in Albert G.
