Lady Saints down Crusaders

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ tennis team topped host Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School 7-2 on Tuesday, further building on an impressive start to the 2014 season.
The first Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association girls’ tennis poll has come out with the Lady Saints ranked No. 2 in the state among Division II schools.

Nansemond-Suffolk (3-1, 0-0) begins official conference play today, hosting Hampton Roads Academy, the No. 1-ranked VISAA Div. II team. The two squads faced off earlier this season, with HRA winning 5-4 at home.
