Cynthia Lorraine Duck Parker, 51, passed away Oct. 5, 2014. She was born in Fairbanks, Alaska on Feb. 13, 1963, the daughter of Richard “Dickie” and Connie Ellis Duck. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Parker; maternal grandparents, Wilson and Edith Ellis; paternal grandparents, Richard and Elsie Duck. She was a member of the Franklin Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 4411.

Including her parents, Cynthia is survived by her daughters, Dawn Barkers, April Salmon (David); four grandchildren; sisters, Cheryl Rountree, Teresa Duck, Angela Vaughan (Eddie); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; special aunt, Peggy Wilson; and companion, O.C. Jones.

Friends may join the family for a visitation Wednesday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Rawls/Ellis Family Cemetery, 1878 Manning Road, Suffolk.
