To the editor:

Since the new City Hall has opened, they decided to turn the Library’s parking spaces into visitor  parking for City Hall. This has presented a problem for library patrons. There were only 12 or so places for patrons to park before, and now there are none.

Three times recently I could not get a space and went back home, because I cannot walk long distances.

I am calling all of readers and patrons to call and or email the library to tell them we need those spaces. Contact Director of Libraries Clint S. Rudy at crudy@suffolkva.us or 514-7322.

I want to know where I can park.
