Hannah Cleo Mason, 92, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2014, at Golden Living Nursing Home in Portsmouth. She was a native of Nansemond County and the daughter of the late Whit Lewis and Mollie Kate Lewis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Nollie Mason.

She attended Booker T. Washington High School. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Patricia Vaughan, of Virginia Beach, and Celestine Cousins, of Portsmouth; two sons, Richard Mason (Shirley), of Clinton, Md., and Lonnie Mason, of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon, Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, in the chapel of Crocker Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Emmanuel Myrick. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. A visitation will be held Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, from 8 to 9 p.m. at Crocker Funeral Home. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.crockerfuneralhome.com.
