Clara W. Kindred, 81, slept peacefully away Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014. She was born April 29, 1933, to the late Eddie and Carrie White.

She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Kindred Jr.; a son, William Kindred; a daughter, Alice Justice; and grandson, Kellam Justice. She drove a school bus for Suffolk Public Schools 45 years. She was a member of CornerStone Missionary Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Valerie Knight (Kevin Sr.); and spiritual children Larry (Alison), Gary (Charlene), Everett and Sharon Revel; four sisters, Louise Knight, Archie Lyons (George), and Beulah Bailey, all of Suffolk, and Carrie Gerena (George) of Passaic N.J.; 11 grandchildren, and seven great-grand children.

A funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Piney Grove Baptist Church.
