The Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Office has asked the public for help locating a woman who has been missing since Nov. 1.

Elizabeth Pruitt, 29, was last seen by family members at Bridges Restaurant on the Isle of Wight side of the James River Bridge on or near Nov. 1, according to a news release from the county. She was leaving the restaurant in a North End Taxi.

There is some indication that Pruitt may have been seen in Virginia Beach and on the Peninsula since then, according to the release.

Pruitt suffers from depression and takes heart medication, the release states. She had medication with her when she was last seen, but the prescription has not been refilled.

Her “history of depression coupled with other mental health issues makes her susceptible to manipulation by others,” according to the release.

The sheriff’s office would like to locate her to determine her mental and physical well-being, according to the release. Pruitt, or any others who know her whereabouts, is asked to call Investigator Morgan at 357-2151.
