Police investigate armed robbery

Suffolk police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Tuesday evening on Holland Road.
The incident was reported at 7:02 p.m. from the Supreme Holiday Food Store in the 1400 block of Holland Road, according to a city press release. One white male and one black male entered the store, brandished a firearm and demanded money.
They fled on foot after receiving an undetermined amount of cash, according to the release. No injuries were reported.
Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or text the keyword SPDVATIP and the tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Tipsters never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
