Eley graduates from VSU

Deric Jemel Eley, son of Jennifer Eley and grandson of Annie Mae Eley and the late Ernest “Bones” Eley Sr., graduated from Virginia State University on Dec. 6.
Deric Jemel Eley, a 2010 graduate of Nansemond River High School, earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia State University on Dec. 6.
Eley graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in manufacturing engineering and a minor in mathematics.
Eley is a 2010 graduate of Nansemond River High School.
