A church in the 2000 block of Lake Cohoon Road is missing its air-conditioning unit after it was stolen from the building, city spokeswoman Diana Klink said.

Missouri Baptist Church reported it missing on New Year’s Eve. The unit was last seen at the premises on Dec. 28 during church services.

The unit’s copper line and wires were cut, Klink said. There are no suspects at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or text the keyword SPDVATIP and the tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Tipsters never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
