A North Carolina man was arrested on Tuesday following his indictment on charges stemming from a Dec. 7, 2013 incident.

William Allen Priest, 53, of Corapeake, was initially arrested the same day as the incident. Priest has since been indicted on additional charges.

A woman told police she was sexually assaulted and physically prevented from leaving the premises by a man she had met that evening.

Priest was arrested on rape and abduction charges and indicted on a charge of abduction to extort money or for immoral purpose.
