SUFFOLK — Daniel Bray Zasada, 27, passed away on Monday, Jan. 19, 2015. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Chester Zasada; maternal grandparents, Bray and Florence Hawk. He is survived by his parents, Andrew and Jenny Zasada; brothers, Christopher and Michael Zasada; paternal grandmother, Helen Zasada; and numerous extended family members.

Daniel was a graduate of Nansemond-Suffolk Academy and Virginia Tech. He was full of life and loved to bodyboard at the beach with his friends. He was a loving friend and one who stood up for the underdog. We lost our beloved son and brother to addiction. We would like to thank his many friends who looked out for him and tried to help him during his battle.
