School delays announced

- Suffolk Public Schools are on a two-hour delay Tuesday. Breakfast will not be served, but lunch will be served. Before-school care will also open two hours later than normal.
- Nansemond-Suffolk Academy announced via social media that it would open Tuesday on a 2-hour delay for all students, faculty and staff, due to the snow and freezing rain expected in the area. There will be no morning care. The Art Show and Sale will also operate on a 2-hour delay.
- Suffolk Christian Academy also announced it would be operating on a two-hour delay on Tuesday. Middle school and high school students were directed to report to their homerooms at 9:50 a.m., and elementary school students were to report to class at 10:20 a.m.
