Melvin “Poppa” J. Butler Sr., 60, of Zuni, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, at MCV Hospital in Richmond. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor W. T. Smith. Interment will be in Ebenezer Church Cemetery. A wake will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Crocker Funeral Home.
