Bertha Mae Smith, 94, died on Monday, February 23, 2015, at Sentra Healthcare in Portsmouth.

A viewing will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. A home-going celebration service will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home chapel, and she will be laid to rest at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
