Wilma Jean Stephenson, 76, of Suffolk, VA passed away Feb. 24, 2015.

She was born in Isle of Wight County to the late Samuel and Martha Stringfield Jones.  She is also predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Thomas E. Stephenson.

Wilma is survived by her daughter, Barbara Stephenson Kiger and husband, Randy; sons, Thomas “Tommy” E. Stephenson Jr. and wife, Cindy, and John “Johnny” T. Stephenson; six grandchildren, Jason and Sarah Stephenson, Jeffrey and Jessica Stephenson, Thomas and Brian Stephenson; seven great grandchildren, Eileene Kiger, Mary Kiger, Nathan Davis, Jane Goodrich, Talula Kiger, Shania Kiger, and Annika Stephenson; sisters, Mary Byrum and Martha Ruth Wells; and brother, Buddy Jones.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 5540 Falmouth St., #101, Richmond, VA 23230 or to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058.
