Suffolk Parks and Recreation held its first Active Adult Pool Tournament earlier this month at East Suffolk Recreation Center with Alvin Bryant emerging as the champion. Sherman Goodman took second place.

In this case, Active Adult refers to participants 50 years and older.

Bryant will now represent Suffolk when he competes in the 2015 Virginia Senior Games held in Newport News from May 12 to 16. He will compete against other billiards players from all over Virginia.
