Two men and one woman were taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital after a three-vehicle crash on Bridge Road’s Godwin Bridge.

The accident was reported at 6:22 a.m. Wednesday, and the road was shut down in both directions for a little more than an hour, according to a city press release..

Each of the three vehicles involved was occupied by the driver only. The injuries to the three drivers were not considered life-threatening, according to the release.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
