Bronco Federal Credit Union recently awarded high school seniors from the Hampton Roads community with scholarships to help them begin their continued education journey.

This year’s program awarded two $5,000 scholarships, one $2,000 scholarship, and three $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors.

Kaylee Smith, of Windsor High School, and Paige Parker, of Southampton Academy, are the recipients of the $5,000 John Alan Glasgow Memorial Scholarships. This scholarship is named in memory of John Alan Glasgow, Class of 1999, to recognize the scholastic and life achievements of a graduating student.

Brianna Karmilovich was awarded a $2,000 Bronco Scholarship. In addition, Hannah Hill, of Nansemond River High School, Shaunye Burton, of Southampton High School, and Lexus Isom, of Lakeland High School, each received a $1,000 scholarship from Bronco.

The 2015 scholarship winners have demonstrated excellent community and extracurricular activity involvement as well as strong academics throughout their high school careers, according to a press release.
