Lady Saints advance to TCIS semis

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy softball team defeated visiting Norfolk Collegiate School 13-0 in five innings during the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools tournament quarterfinals on Tuesday.
NSA junior Katie Peelen and freshman Emerson Puzey combined for a no-hitter, and at the plate, Puzey went 3-for-3, including her fourth home run of the season, and she also had four runs batted in.
The Lady Saints (12-6) host Norfolk Christian School in the TCIS tournament semifinals on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
