Joyce Ann Davis, 66, transitioned to glory on Sunday, May 10, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Cleo P. Worrell and Willie Miles.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Davis.

Joyce leaves behind to cherish her beautiful memory, one daughter, Wanda Davis; two sons, Rodney Davis and Carlton Davis; three sisters; one brother; a longtime companion, Willie; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Ms. Davis’s visitation will take place from noon to 7 p.m., and the family will greet visitors from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. A home going celebration will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday at T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Sharon Foster of Truth Transformation Ministries, and she will be laid to rest at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
