The Nansemond River High School girls’ tennis team defeated Denbigh High School 5-0 on Wednesday during the Ironclad Conference team tournament semifinals.

Following are the results from the matches that counted toward the Lady Warriors’ five-point total:

• McCoy (NR) def. Pryor (D) 6-0, 6-2
• Ortiz (NR) def. Sepulveda (D) 6-0, 6-1
• Sadler (NR) def. Poseuke (D) 6-0, 6-0
• Samuel (NR) def. Johnson (D) 6-0, 6-0

In the finals, Nansemond River will face the winner of Wednesday’s match between Lakeland and King’s Fork high schools.
