SUFFOLK — Katherine Cenobia Pond, 75, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 14, 2015. She was predeceased by her parents, Lillie G. and William H. Larrimore.

Katherine was a member of Nansemond River Baptist Church and the Junto Woman’s Club.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Byrum and Cathy Johnson; son, Cleveland L. Johnson Jr., and wife, Debbie, all of Suffolk; grandchildren Mallory, Elizabeth Chappell, Joshua Johnson and Tami Renee Smith; sisters, Thelma Revele and Lillie House; brother, Arthur Larrimore; great-grandsons, Dakota L. Knott and C.J. Chappell; many nieces and nephews; and caregiver and lifelong friend, Carolyn Matthews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at noon at Nansemond River Baptist Church by Dalton Caraway. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on May 15, 2015, at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk.
