Police have arrested three men after a break-in early Tuesday morning in the Governor’s Pointe neighborhood in North Suffolk.
Officers responded to the reported breaking and entering in the 100 block of Torrington Court shortly before 2 a.m. They stopped a suspicious vehicle leaving the area, according to city spokeswoman Diana Klink.
Four subjects were detained, and three had been charged as of Tuesday night with armed residential burglary and conspiracy to commit armed burglary.
The three charged, according to Klink, are Jordan Chase Alvarez, 21, of Hampton; Curtis Childs, 24, of Newport News; and Anthony Lamont Scott-McNeill, 22, of Newport News.
The three are currently being held without bond at Western Tidewater Regional Jail, Klink stated in the press release. The fourth subject has not been charged, and the investigation is ongoing.
