A former Suffolk resident has pleaded guilty to six crimes for her role in a child pornography ring.
Sierra Danyelle Halsey, 24, already is serving a 15-year prison sentence on federal charges. The grand jury indicted her on state charges in March.
She pleaded guilty Thursday to one count each of sodomy, attempted sodomy, aggravated sexual battery of a victim under 13, indecent liberties with a child under 15, indecent liberties in a custodial or supervisory relationship, and child cruelty.
Halsey was the girlfriend of Robert H. Scott, also known as “Mike Pyro.” From November 2012 to April 2013, he extorted money from women who hosted sex parties at area hotels, and he solicited child pornography from at least five women via email and text message.
Halsey made pornography videos with at least two male victims, ages 1 and 5 years old, at her former residence in the 5000 block of Townpoint Road in Suffolk in April 2013.
Scott promised to pay Halsey $150,000 for the child pornography but never paid her, according to Klink.
Halsey confessed to her involvement after being arrested in April 2014 by Department of Homeland Security agents while she visited Scott at the Western Tidewater Regional Jail. She pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to production of child pornography and destruction of records.
Halsey will be sentenced Sept. 24. Fifteen charges were not prosecuted as part of a plea agreement.
